LUMA was created to do self-serve differently — with freshly made gelato, curated toppings, warm service and a boutique space where every guest can create their perfect cup, their own way.

After more than a decade in the gelato and hospitality world, we saw an opportunity to create something different: a self-serve gelato experience that felt simple, fresh and full of choice, without compromising on quality.

At LUMA, you’re the chef — but nothing around you is random. Every flavour is made with care, every topping is chosen to complement the gelato, and every sauce, crumble and finish is designed to add flavour, texture and beauty to your cup.

We wanted to combine the best parts of traditional Italian gelato with the freedom of self-serve: premium ingredients, thoughtful presentation, warm service and a boutique space that feels special from the moment you walk in.

Before your cup reaches the toppings bar, every flavour begins with careful choices — premium Italian ingredients, quality milk and cream, balanced recipes and a process handled in-house.

Choose. Measure. Pasteurise. Settle. Prepare. Serve.

Each base is carefully measured and pasteurised in-house, then given time to settle so the texture, flavour and balance can develop before it’s finished for our self-serve machines.

The same care continues at the toppings bar, where every sauce, crumble, nut and drizzle is chosen to bring flavour, texture and beauty to your cup.

Choose your gelato, layer your toppings, drizzle your sauce and make it yours. Keep it simple with one classic flavour, or layer gelato, sauces, crumbles, nuts, chocolates and drizzles for something completely your own.

Our flavours change regularly, but the idea stays the same: smooth Italian texture, balanced flavour and toppings chosen to complement the gelato - not overwhelm it.

Please speak to our team before serving if you have an allergy. LUMA is a self-serve environment and our kitchen and toppings bar handle dairy, gluten, nuts and other allergens, so we cannot guarantee any product is free from traces or cross-contact.
